2 Days / 1 Night — Samburu Safari

Day 1: Nairobi → Samburu National Reserve

• 05:30 AM: Pickup from Shell Petro Station opposite GPO Huduma Center or Nairobi hotel.
• Route: Travel via Nanyuki and Isiolo — scenic drive past coffee plantations, Mt. Kenya, and northern savannahs.
• Breakfast Stop: Nanyuki town for light snacks or coffee (guest expense).
• Arrival: Around 11:00 AM at Samburu National Reserve gate.
• Check-in & Relaxation: Samburu Sopa Lodge — welcome drink and settle in with views of Ewaso Nyiro River.
• Afternoon Game Drive: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM; spot Samburu Special Five (Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx) and other wildlife.
• Cultural Visit & Sundowner: Visit nearby Samburu village, traditional jump dance, photography, sundowner overlooking plains.
• Evening: Dinner at lodge; optional stargazing, bonfire storytelling, or bar relaxation.
• Overnight: Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Samburu → Nairobi

• 06:00 AM: Sunrise game drive — observe active wildlife, capture sunrise photos.
• 08:30 AM: Return to lodge for breakfast.
• 10:00 AM: Checkout and depart Samburu.
• Lunch Stop: Nanyuki or Sagana (at own cost).
• Arrival: Nairobi between 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM; end of safari.
