3-Day Safari Itinerary: Maasai Mara & Amboseli

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

• Morning: Pick up from Nairobi (hotel / airport) and depart for Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley escarpment with scenic photography stops.
• Midday: Arrive at Ashnil Mara Camp. Check in and enjoy lunch.
• Afternoon: Game drive across the Mara plains in search of lions, cheetah, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and more.
• Evening: Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Maasai Mara – Amboseli National Park

• Early Morning: Breakfast at the lodge, then check out — enjoy a sunrise game drive as you exit Maasai Mara.
• Midday: Drive to Amboseli National Park with picnic lunch en route.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Amboseli and check in at AA Lodge Amboseli (or similar).
• Evening: Sunset game drive with stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Amboseli's large elephant herds.
• Night: Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi

• Early Morning: Sunrise game drive — great photo opportunities of wildlife with Mt. Kilimanjaro as a backdrop.
• Breakfast: Return to the lodge for breakfast.
• Mid-Morning: Optional visit to a Maasai village to experience cultural traditions and dances.
• Midday: Check out and depart for Nairobi with lunch en route.
• Evening: Drop-off at Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for onward travel.
